Thanks to Rokman and Interior Geocaching Supplies for helping us to get the Moving Cache back in action. Here’s how it works. Whoever gets it first takes it and is now responsible for it. To let other cachers know it has been taken, leave a small cairn (pile some stones or something else there) at the hide spot. Go on to this site and record your find. Pick a new spot with a cache type of your choosing and post the new location. Whoever finds the cache takes the FTF prize and then has to provide one for the next finder. It is about fun so use your creativity!

I am in the process of planning a hide for the new moving cache. Because we are not limited by proximity etc., I am taking some time to plan this one to incorporate many of the ideas we have seen throughout our community. I will have this cache up and out within the next two weeks, as this weekend I am heading to the states . . .
Rod aka Rokman4
The moving cache has been placed. It is a two stage multi. Stage 1 is yours to keep as the FTF, inside are the coords to Stage 2, Final Location. At Stage two, look for the rock and the cache is within inches of this.
N50 40.684 W120 20.963
Yahoooo…. the moving cache is back on track…(and it has moved again…..
) We will find a new home for it shortly. We left 3 small rocks in a row on the curb to let others know the cache had been found. Thanks Rokman4 for getting the cache up and running again.
I again bow to the FTF King . . . enjoy the new form of micro . . . I look forward to your creative use for it . . . and thanks for getting the ball rolling . . . I have missed this cache . . .
The moving cache has been placed ( Sorry, took us a bit longer to place than we expected).
You must gather the following information to find it’s location:
A = 3 digit # on grey building south of N50°42.314 W120°21.941
B = 3 digit # south of N50°41.906 W120°21.801 between 115 and 787
C = First 2 digits of 3 digit # west of N50°42.206 W120°23.566
D = Convert 4 digit # west of N50°42.623 W120°21.548 into XYZ
X = 1st #, Y = 3rd #, Z = 2nd # + 4th #
Once you have the information above, go to the following coordinates:
. Good Luck!
N50°42. (A reversed) W120°(B reversed) At this location, Stage 1, you need to find a container with the information on how to find Stage 2, the Moving Cache. Please do not take Stage one until Stage 2 has been found. This way, someone else can still solve the puzzle if you are having trouble finding the cache. Whoever finds Stage 2, please add Stage 1 to the swag in the moving cache. Thanks! We added some camo tape to the cache and a FTF prize…
OOOOOOOOPS……. Made a mistake. Above should say:
Once you have the information, go to the following coordinates:
N50°42.(A reversed) W120°22.(B reversed)
Tricky but fun cache. Needed a little hint from the CO to finalize, but after all the searching and figuring I didn’t feel too guilty. Will try to place an interesting moving cache as it’s predecessor was.
Congrats for solving a KP puzzle!
The moving cache is back in action. From the following puzzling coordinates you will have to project a waypoint at a bearing of 95 degrees and a distance of 941 metres.
50 ab.110th prime # 120 9th prime #.0cd
ab = In the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy this number was said to be the ultimate answer to life.
cd represents a 2 digit # that when added up and subtracted from 106 will give the same 2 digit #
HeHeHeHe, found it……… funny guy!!! , love it!! But ya know….. you didn’t take your prize….left it in there for our FTF prize? Anyway…….. good one filster27! Now…. where do we go from here?????? TIME will tell?
Didn’t see any obvious indication that you found cache. Would have saved some unnecessary looking
Glad ya liked it, Kpnieder. The humour of it certainly wouldn’t have been the same if anyone else would have found it. Looking forward to your next hide.
OK…. gonna change it up a bit. The Moving Cache has moved and can be found at:
N50°AB.CDE W120°FG.HIJ
We have left the prize for the finder in the cache.
Title: Time is on “Your” Side
Songs:
A = Me and My Shadow
B = Diane
C = I’m Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover
D = He Loves and She Loves
E = Sometimes I’m Happy (Sometimes I’m Blue)
Movies:
F = Captain Salvation
G = Uncle Tom’s Cabin
H = Seventh Heaven
I = The Kid Brother
J = The King of Kings
Warning: You may want to bring bug spray…….
HINT:
1) Time……. Make sure you are set to the right time ?????….:)
2) common denominator of songs and movies is important (the right songs and movies)
Okay…. this one didn’t really work out the way I had planned.
Because the bugs are pretty awful where the cache is located, and I don’t want people to be eaten alive ( too much…
) we are giving the following info:
HINT: At Geocaching.com, read bottom line of white section on any cache page.
If nobody finds it today, I will post a link with info at 10:00 pm. (will pretty much spell it out)
Good luck……. next one will be easy…
Considering the state of my arms & legs, “awful” is an understatement!
Figured out the coords this morning, but the hide was just as devious as the puzzle. Not only were the bugs everywhere, the cache remained nowhere to be found for quite some time. Finally, it was in my hand and I got a mosquito escort back to my car. The moving cache will be back up very soon. Thanks for the adventure KP.
Moving cache is approx 50 feet NE of these coordinates in an obvious place.

Good luck.
Ok you three…..time to share! lol
Placed at N50 39.969 W120 21.164 . Have a good weekend guys. Cyas when we get back from havin FUN…..hehehe
Decided to have a quick look for this one. Sometimes Lady Luck smiles on you. Found it very quickly. Just happened to look in right spot.
Since I am heading to cabin on Monday Afternoon I will have to replace this quickly before I go.
When I placed cache at n50 39.886 w120 18.593 I was startled by a coyote that was a little upeset with me. It growled and yipped. I then noticed it had three pups. They quickly moved off. Next time I get hold of cache I will have more time to be creative with hide.
Took a bit to find this one. Lots of places to hide but not in any of
them. I think he wanted me to look for a while. Tfth will be moving
the cache along shortly.
The moving cache is back up. The cache location is 125 meters south from GC1MGA4. It is within 10 meters off the trail on the right side if you are looking south. There are mosquitos so bring your spray.
Went out that way today, searched for awhile, came up empty.
Looks like someone else was there searching. for it also. Waiting for a hint now.
Hint for the moving cache: look under a rock. Not a boulder
Bugs not to bad early in morning. Cache was soon in hand. Will place it soon.
A reminder to all finders of the Moving Cache to leave a stack of three rocks or three items in place of the found cache so that followers know it was found.
I left three rocks on top of the big rock to indicate I had found cache
n50 39.725 w120 18.370 Say no more
Grabbed the cache today at 1:00 , not the best time to be caching. Stopped to cool down under a tree after searching for a bit. Good thing I did or I wouldn’t have noticed it. Quite a unique hide in plain sight , if you happen to look in the right direction. Will place shortly. Placed 3 rocks right by the yellow gate to indicate the cache has been found.
Drew a blank on an ingenious puzzle, so here is a very basic hide.
n50 40.564 w120 18.034
I have the moving cache . . . left 3 rocks to identify it is gone . . . I will be placing this one on the weekend . . . I have an idea . . . where flashlights will be needed . . .
I still have the cache . . . I will try to put together my idea over the next few days and place . . .
I have found a spot for the moving cache, will be posting the coords over the weekend, perhaps late tonight . . . this will be a puzzle cache. You will have to surf . . . the web to gather information to get the coords. Then . . . when you go to retrieve the moving cache, there will be the coords to an unpublished cache, which you can go to and log as FTF before it is published . . . hmmm . . . some of us might like this . . . and I am not sure yet what the FTF prize will be . . .

To find the moving cache you are going to navigate through a couple of web sites gathering information required to uncover the final location.
Begin by going to https://www.greathunt.com/cryptex/. This page will challenge you to solve a Cryptex. The word you discover which opens the Cryptex is your Word Key. You will need to know the last WORD in the Crytex, this is your KEY. Once the Crytex is solved you will be directed to email a friend, disregard this and move on to the next web site.
Go to GC25DMR on http://www.geocaching.com . . . and read the hint. It is not Joe Cacher! Go to the web site that is not Joe Cacher and click on cipbers.
The correct cipher tool has the same name as a range of mountains on Vancouver Island very near the city of PA.
Once you have found the correct cipher, make sure decrypt, case sensitive and keep non-alphabet characters are checked. Then copy the above cipher text into the ciphertext box. And type your KEY word into the KEY box. You will now reveal the coords.
There is a first to find in the moving cache and a special bonus. There is a soon to be published cache nearby called Get To The Point. I have placed the coords to this unpublished cache in the moving cache. If you are game for a FTF of a new cache you need to find the Moving Cache before mtn-man lists Get To The Point.
I have posted this cache and sent my new one in for review only a few minutes apart. Have fun!
We are usually not the type of cachers that run out for a cache because there is a FTF at stake….but today we thought..ah..why not?
Beautiful area for a cache….we saw a baby moose on the way and a deer swimming across the lake. We enjoyed solving the puzzle too!! We left 3 sticks up against the tree.
Sorry everyone for taking too long to move the Moving Cache!! ….. it will move this weekend… Aug 21 / 22.
